The graphics in this game are quite good. The character models are excellent, although they actually look better in cutscenes than in FMV sequences. The intro is definitely the coolest and nicest looking (nicest looking until REmake came out); Resident Evil 2 had a great one as well, all of them are good. You can see he emotions on the characters faces, especially when it's shock. You'll also notice Claire's ponytail moving as she walks/runs, and picks items up.
The lighting effects are awesome, were definitely the best until REmake came along. When you equip the lighter, you can see the light bouncing off of the walls and the faces of the character(s) near by it, causing shadows to form. The enemies are all very well done, especially the newest addition, the bandersnatch. One long arm it has, very cool looking it is. The Tyrant is very realistic looking...at least as realistic as a made-up mutant monster can be.
Water splashes as you enter it, and ripples as you move along. The ending sequence - beautiful especiallythe extended version of it in CVX). The fire as Chris rides the elevator, the incredible explosion, is as realistic as I've ever seen. The flames just look so good. Final boss - awesome as well. A couple different, cool forms makes it great. Especially when she smirks right before the battle starts, I thought that was a nice touch. Anyway, the graphics in this game are great, and no one can argue with that.
Gameplay.
The controls are like the others, carrying on the Resident Evil tradtion. Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way I still don't see why people have problems with it. Just press R1 along with the action button to fire, or with the knife, stab at the enemy. You'll get the hang of it after only a few minutes if you've never played with these controls before. They have all kinds of different weapons for your enjoyment, which are:
Knife, Handgun, Upgraded handgun (both Claire and Chris can upgrade theirs), grenade launcher, MP-100s, bowgun with bowgun arrows or bowgun powder, Sub-Machine guns (for Steve), Assault Rifle, another pair of Sub-Machine Guns (or Chris) Shotgun, Magnum, and the Linear Launcher (infinite ammo).
So as you can see, it has a wide variety in the weapon cache department. For both Chris and Claire, you start out with 8 inventory spaces, but can find a side pack for each of them, which extends it to 10 spaces.
Sound.
Very nice sound quality for this game. The voice acting is good, and so are the characters' voices (except of course Steve's *wink*). When you're around the graveyard, you can hear the muddy steps as the zombies walk around, and it's the same way with your character. The water splashes as you walk on it, and as it rains you can hear is pattering down to the ground. When you walk up or down metal stairs, you can hear it clattering.
The moan of zombies can be heard from a little ways away, their cries calling out into the night. The dogs make the sound dogs do as they walk or run. The gun rounds, the explosions, machine guns, all sound very realistic. Basically the thing to say hear is: great sound.
Replay Value.
Only a few words to say on this subject when it comes to Code Veronica (X). Basically - it doesn't really have any. It has the battle mode, sure, but it has the least replay value of any of the RE games. It's worth it toplay through a couple times if you liked it the first time. Or if it's your fave game like it is mine, play through it just cause ya love it, or wanna get better. That's really all there is to say about the replay value.

- Like I said above, not much can be said for CVX replay value. It basically has barely any.

- Very good came to at least try out, especially if you're a fan of the series. Personally, it's my fave RE game...in fact, it's my fave game period as of now.
