This book follows the game's storyline very well...except that the game doesn't have that great of one. The book os good, though. Good descriptions as usual. I actually probably like the book more than the game...though I'd have to play the game again to determine that. Basically, however, if you liked Nemesis, you should like this.
It captures the characters well: Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, and Nicholai Ginovaef. Those are the character perspectives this book focuses on. It contains a few minor characters, but it doesn't enter their minds. It's also inetresting and kind of funny when Carlos and Jill meet because at first Carlos thinks she's kind of crazy.
Trent also makes a guest appearance, which seemed only natural; he's mentioned in like every book, and makes an appearance in 3 of them. Nemesis is portaryed well, and thanks to him, there's action. Jill and Nicholai's interactions are cool because she doesn't trust him in the first place. At least she has good intuition.
This is also the second longest book of the series at 272 pages. Overall, this gets a 3.5/5 form me; same as Underworld. I will say that it's not Perry's fault, because of what she had to work with. I have a feeling that if Nemesis would have been a better game, this would have been a better nook as well.
