Claire Redfield. Still searching for her lost brother, Chris, she infiltrates the Umbrella headquarters in Europe. She gets captured, not killed. They hold her and send her to an isolated island somewhere in the South Pacific. She wakes up in a prison cell, during an attack on the island. She's let go, only to find things not much better on the outside.

Steve Burnside. At 17, he was also a prisoner on the island, but when chaos broke out, was able to escape. His family has been killed, and you'll find out why in the game. Him and Claire meet soon after the game begins, and also go their separate ways a lot. He can get annoying (and A LOT of people thought so, heh), but he does end up savin Claire a couple times. Oh, and you can also tell he really likes Claire. *wink*

Chris Redfield. We should all know Chris by now. He gets a tip from Leon about where Claire is, and immediately takes off to find her. But after he gets to the island, he discovers she has gotten away...and learns from Wesker (yes, Wesker) that she's in Antarctica. He arrives there, and eventually finds Claire...but it takes a lot to get there.

Albert Wesker. Former captain of the S.T.A.R.S., and is now working for an Umbrella rival company, initialed HFC. He's changed since the last time you've seen him, really changed. He now has yellow-orange cat-like eyes, due to him injecting himself with a virus provided by William Birkin. So now, he's really strong, and can kick major ass. He needs the T-Veronica Virus which is in Alexia Ashford's body, and will do a lot to get it.

Alexia Ashford. Blonde with blue eyes, twin sister of Alfred Ashford. Child genius when it came to creating things, that's why she created the T-Veronica Virus. Her and her brother were very close, then she performed an experiment on their father, Alexander Ashford, but it went terribly wrong. So, she decided to try it on herself. That meant she would have to be 'asleep' in a glass tube for 15 years. And she did just that.

Alfred Ashford. Also blonde with blue eyes, just like Alexia. Thing is, he's been a bit crazy ever since Alexia went into stasis. Maybe a lot crazy. He really thinks he's two people: him, and his sister. He loves her more than anything, and feels pretty much empty without her. He meets Claire, and he plans to kill her off slowly.

Rodrigo Juan Raval. Works for Umbrella and is in fact the one who got to Claire and captured her. After the island gets attacked, however, he let's her go. He's hurt throughout the game, and only a minor character, but he does help Claire a couple of times.
